The flowers in and around our gardens are so beautiful I imagine them makes faces at me. I swear, I think I see a smiley face in the center of this Sunflower, which soars to about 10 feet along the side of our house.

I don’t see it but it’s making me smile anyway. Yellow is a happy color and sunflowers exude joy!?
It s a beautiful sunflower, which never last long in my yard. An army of squirrels descend on them, despite, at the time, two dogs, and they would chew off the sunflower head, and take it up a tree to eat it. How do you keep the blasted flying rodents away from them. I would love to plant some and enjoy their smiley faces.
