I had my first college lesson this morning from Emily Gold, our friend, and gifted artist. I want to be able to write thank you and appreciation cards to the beautiful people who donate to the work of the Army Of Good.

And the card above is my first card.

I like my first effort, a donkey, but it is primitive next to Maria and Emily’s work. Still, it’s not too bad for a first effort. I’ve ordered cards, and Emily left me a box of cut-up paper and all kinds of pens, brushes, markers, and pencils.

I’m ready to go. I have a great teacher and a great partner. Maria and I are going to make a batch of cards this weekend. It’s great fun for the two of us to do this creative work together.

So, to every member of the Army Of Good, thanks! I wish each and every one of you could get a collage card, but I’ll make as many as I can.,
