Snow And Bitter Cold: Three Hungry Faces Of The Peaceable Kingdom

by Jon Katz

The weather turned ugly late this morning, ice, wind, cold some snow. I’m heading out to get some veggie pizza for dinner, we are in for the night.

The animals were hungry, at 3 p.m. as usual, even in the rain. These three, as always were demanding some extra attention (and getting it).

Above, Merricat, one of our youngest sheep.

Below, Lulu, who always knows how to get right to my heart.

And then there is Asher, who thinks he’s a puppy and loves to have his nose scratched and kissed.

Snow and ice till morning. Temperatures in the teens all day tomorrow.
