Fate is not a cuddly dog and doesn’t like to get too close to Zinnia or Bud. She will sometimes play with Bud, but she isn’t crazy about Zinnia. (Fate has no love of female dogs). I was surprised to see that for the first time the two were sleeping nose to nose in front of the woodstove on this very, very cold night.

It warmed me up.
