In warm weather, Bud’s work is to pursue chipmunks and moles in our yard.
In cold weather, he is the keeper of the flame, the guardian of the wood stove. He never tires of being warm, especially when the temperature outside is -7.

Bud wouldn’t like it here, this morning it was minus -34. We live in Northern New York along the St. Lawrence River and near the Canadian border.
I’m not sure I’d like it there, either Bonnie, stay warm..
Too cool. Dogs are the bestest.
