Maria’s still sick, getting a little better each day, but still exhausted and in lots of discomforts. It will just take a few days to get well, and she is not good at waiting; she wants to get to work.
She crashed this morning; she hates being helpless. She thinks the earth will stop revolving around the sun if she doesn’t work for a few days.
We had a good talk, and she’s settling down. We are good and practiced at calming one another.
She’s out sitting in the grass with Zinnia and the donkeys. I’m off to see the chiropractor and do some shopping and chores.
I went outside this morning, and the flowers were covered in dew; it was lovely. I’ve got a lot of work to help make this county fair thing happen, but we will get there.

Oh, my goodness–that first flower in all of its Royal Purple color with the sweet drops of dew! it stopped me in my tracks! After a few minutes, I finally recovered and was so pleased to see the other pictures–they are each so beautiful! I love it when you get in close and produce a water color effect. So other worldly. Thank you for sharing your newly discovered artistic creative gift.
