We refilled the feeder this morning in preparation for another winter storm tonight and tomorrow. I’ve ordered one of the first T.J. Kline books, The House In The Cerulean Sea, a hopeful Orwellian fantasy for all ages. I know nothing about it, but people I know well have loved it, and it looks interesting. Fun to step out of my zone once in a while.
This book is said to be about coping and is a huge hit on TikTok and conventional book reviews. I’m curious. Who says kids don’t read?
Orwellian? What gave you the idea that the book is Orwellian? T.J. Kline is the opposite of Orwellian in all respects. Also, why do you buy books and give them away when you can check them out of your local library? You’re always complaining about money–that would be a big savings right there!

It is a really good book and it is an original. I like books that don’t have the same story line of other books.
