Mid-Day Pleasure. Off To Buy Flowers And See Baby Goats

by Jon Katz

In celebration of my birthday, I will give myself a mid-day treat.

Usually, I am writing furiously, downloading photos, researching an idea, writing, and proofreading (yes, I do get around to it.)

I am going to Vermont to buy two flower plants I think could be a great addition, and then coming home to have lunch with Maria.

After lunch, I’m going to my friend Caz Casavant (a/k/a the goat lady) and her 19 baby goats on her farm. I hope to return with some neat flowers to photography and some fun pictures of baby goats.

Maria and I are both workaholics. I don’t expect that to change, but I like the idea of the mid-day break. Below is one of the flowers I hope to come home with more of. Now that I’m

The first one is pleased in my garden. Seeing Caz with her goats will also be a lot of fun. See you later this afternoon.

  1. Love Lisianthus (and you’ve taken some wonderful pictures of them) but really, how do you top buying plants and baby goats? Perfect!

    1. Well, I’m not planning on a baby goat, that’s for sure..I had them once. A farmer told me never to get an animal so obviously smarter than I am…I wont make that mistake again..I’m seeing the goats, not buying them..
