I chose purple as a good Saturday Flower. Maria and I are going to the movie A Haunting In Venice this afternoon, based on a Hercule Poirot mystery by Agatha Christie. It will be my first real excursion out of the house since my head injury. Maria does the driving if it’s longer than a couple of miles.

I hope to sleep in our bed again for the first time in two weeks. I still get dizzy when I lie down flat; I’ll be fine in the movie theater, but I’m not sure about the bed. When I get home, I’ll polish off the Adam Dalgleish mystery I’m reading by P.D. James. It will be a mystery recovery day.

I’m picking up some new flowers that flourish in the Fall from Judy Page to replace the ones damaged in the rain last week. My back is much better; it’s only the dizziness that remains.
