You need to read the book The Shepard’s View by James Rebanks. He is a Shepard in the English fells and talks about his life AND his dogs.
Loved your book, not so sure about some of the dog people.

James Rebanks wife Helen also has a book out about their farm life. I’m still looking for a copy.I expect it is as good as Jame’s wonderful book.
