Study In Blue And Red: Intimations Of Spring, It Caught My Mood Today. Brighten Yours.

by Jon Katz

The sun is out, my mood is bright, and if I can’t figure out how to have a lazy day, I can at least have a beautiful day.

Zip wants to be part of everything. And he is.

I am so lucky to be a photographer; thanks to the Cambridge Flower Shop, I can start photographing flowers sooner than expected.  I love seeing colors this close.

Maria bought me some tulips today; I will use them well.

The Irises are hypnotizing me.

Some pink colors.

  1. Jon, I have older hearing aids (the small kind) and need new ones. Let us know what you find out about the best hearing aids.

  2. Me: profound hearing loss runs (rampant) my father’s family. I started losing my hearing in elementary school or earlier. At age 27, an infection took out a lot more of it. I now have cochlear implants. AND I can call you on the phone or meet by ZOOM and explain how assistive technology will give you a fuller life. I WILL hear you talk — phone, Zoom or in person. (I’ve been involved with the HLAA since it was called SHHH as a booster or advocate. I’ve spent a LOT of time learning about hearing loss mitigation, audiologists, and the whole nine yards.) If you have a question, I’ll find the answer, and likely it will be current medical opinion, not the experience of one.

    1. Thanks Emile I appreciate your generous offer and will keep it in mind. At the moment I have a very good Doctor Who is very knowledgeable in this field and she and I are going to talk shortly.
