News Leak: I’m happy to offer a scoop and announce that Maria has just about finished ten Spring Son and Moon potholders in honor of the Eclipse scheduled for April 8 this year. Each one is unique and handcrafted.

These colorful potholders will cost $25 plus $5 shipping and will be sold on Maria’s Etsy Page sometime in the next few days. If anyone wants to buy one in advance – I suspect these will not last long – you can  e-mail  Maria at [email protected]. 

They will go up on Etsy when she finishes sewing the bottoms. They still need to be put up, but you can pre-order one.

It’s a big deal for stars and sun lovers. I’m trying to order one of these potholders for a friend obsessed with eclipses. He’s planning to go to Maine to see this one with his family.  He’d love one of these in his RV.

Like many people, he’s traveled the country and the world with his family, searching for good eclipse views.

Maria says first dibs go to regular customers, not husbands. No special treatment for me from the Honorable Artist.

The next total solar eclipse from the contiguous United States after this one will be Aug. 23, 2044.
