Starlings Aren’t Nice To One Another, Either

Starlings are not lovely to other birds or even to other Starlings. Every morning, there’s a fight at the feeder.

Starlings prefer to keep their secret; they want everything every other Starling wants and everything any finch or bluebird wants. They quarrel all morning and share nothing, much like politicians.

  1. A flock of Starlings remind me of a group of delinquents. But they do have those lovely spots that are heart shaped, and they are really quite pretty. I will send you a photo, so you can see what I’m talking about.
