Luminous With Age

by Jon Katz

I am luminous with age.” — Meriden Le Sour. (Me too)

The truth is that older people come in two flavors – the sour ones and the serene ones.” – Joan Chitisster.” (I’ve made my choice.)

  1. Absolutely beautiful picture of Zip! He looks so much like my mother’s cat of years ago that I often feel it’s Sam looking back at me as you photograph his adventures each day. He looks like he’s doing his daily meditation in this shot. Jon, I very much enjoy reading your blog each day and looking at your beautiful pictures of Bedlam Farm. Your views of nature surrounding your farm are such a joy to read about and see, I look forward to reading your thoughts each morning. Your photos of all the lovely flowers are greatly appreciated after the cold months. Thanks so much for bringing beauty alive with your photographs!

  2. I don’t know where I got this from – it’s not original – but I like it: “You can choose to be miserable, or you can choose to be happy. The amount of effort required is the same.” Glad you & Zip have chosen the latter.
