I decided to give my wife a day out today, and I’m going too. She doesn’t give gifts to herself. She loves storytelling, and we will see a famous group performing in Albany on a nationwide tour.  As a storyteller myself, I’m looking forward to it.

We will dine at an excellent Thai restaurant and stay at a hotel. We can’t do real vacations or leave the farm for too long. Our fantastic farm tender will spend the night with the dogs and other animals. They won’t even notice we are gone; Zip will soon turn his charm on her.

No more blogging today or picture taking. I won’t be posting any flower photos until tomorrow. I am very happy and grateful to the Army of Good for rushing to aid the Cambridge Food Pantry during this rattling day. Lots of Ramen packages on the way.

I’ll see you tomorrow, and wish you a day of joy and meaning. It’s all inside if we want to let it out, at least that is what I have learned.
