Message From The Army Of Kind, from L, to my blog:

” Jon, these flowers are especially breathtaking. The top photo appears to be a silk fabric print to me. I don’t know how you capture the textures of your flowers, I but I always want to touch their soft petals. You are an exceptional artist, Jon.”

I call people who send me messages like that the Army Of The Kind.  They always have a good word to say, in a world when so many people don’t. The society we live in is crammed with kind and generous people, but why are they always in the background and out of sight? The haters always speak up.

This is, after all,  a powerful and wonderful kind of army, the Army of Kindness. It took me years to figure out how nice it is to put their messages up rather than the broken spirits who haunt the Internet. There are so many good people, and there are so many sad people.

I’m happy I took the plunge and made the change to bliss.
