“I was able to take a bunch of items off of the Wish List,” says Sarah. “Thanks.” Today, she said the Pantry is running out of Breakfast Cereals and Size 5 and 6 Diapers. We’re on it. Thanks to Sarah for the low prices and Amazon bargains. We are nearing the end of the month; checks are running out. It’s choice time: healthy cereal or produce.

Update: This report (Pantry’s USA) is about the New Life Mission, a church-run Pantry founded in 1969 in Hamilton, Ohio. The Pantry now sees 40 to 80 families a day, up from 20 to 40 a few years ago. The regional food bank that supplies it now gets just under a quarter of its food from the USDA, down from about half.
