Ever since I was a little kid, I wanted to go to Tussaud’s Wax Museum but I never quite got there. Yesterday, Maria and I took the train into NYC to celebrate “Going Home” with some of the people from Random House who worked so hard on it, and we decided to walk from Penn Station up to Random House. I passed the Museum and Maria said she was taking me there, as a gift, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. I sure wish I had brought the big camera, but I made do with the Iphone. I loved Tussaud’s, especially Woody Allen, Fidel and Hemingway. I got Maria with Oprah, but she got me with Woody Allen.

We had a great time meeting with my editors and the publicity and online marketing staff and wandering around New York. Tired, though. I was very happy to finally get to the wax museum.
