New Video Camera: Dogs On The Path, Coyotes, Simon’s dumplings

Got my new video camera, a Canon (broke three Panasonics this year, and I’ve had enough of that). I stumbled across it on the B& H Photo site Friday, not knowing it was “Black Friday” and got $300 off without even asking. It’s a steal for $250, an HD with great sound and from the first video, great clarity. It’s hardy, easy to use, and I decided to inaugurate it by recording a mix – dogs on the path, Simon eating left over vegetable dumplings, chickens clucking, remains of a turkey the coyotes got on the path (just feathers) and some scenes of my wonderful dogs more or less obeying me. Commanding four dogs at once is not a simple thing, but these dogs are quite wonderful, considering they have to put up with my distracted mind.
