I call them calming images, photos of scenes that I look at and that make me feel calm and peaceful. Photos like the one above are small meditations for me, they are iconic and evoke of connection.

Dogs and sheep have been doing this dance for thousands of years, and Red, blind and with a weak heart, still looks the part and gets the job done.

Those sheep are staying put for awhile. I see this almost every morning, and it settles me for my hours of writing. It is grounding and calming.
