The sky cleared today, it is a beautiful day, cool, sunny with a soft breeze. Red was up to coming out to the pasture today and laying down to keep an eye on his sheep. Lulu and Fanny grazed to keep him company, I think.

They know  Red well, and donkeys can sense illness and aging in other animals, it is something they need to know for their own safety. Red is content to sit and watch. It is  a lovely thing to see.
