Boston Terriers don’t love the cold, but Labs do. Zinnia loves to run around outside, but Bud is teaching her to love lying by the fireplace as well. These two run around outside, then, on cold days like this, they curl up together in front of the fire and doze off.
Their friendship is sweet and enduring. Fate even broke down and ran around with the two of them outside for a minute or two, then walking away contemptuously. Nothing much fazes these two, I think I might lie down next to them. I’d like to be warm too.
Jon and Maria – I wonder where BUD was when he was a little baby pup. How was his puppyhood compared to Zinnia’s? And how wonderful of a life he has now. Am sure he savors every minute of his new life and wonder if he ever dreams of that awful time in Arkansas.
Good questions, Eileen, I’ll probably never know the answers…
I wonder if Bud notices or cares about Zinnias growing bigger? I’m anxious to see the two of them when Zinnia is fully grown. I have a feeling they’ll work out the size difference, and continue to be best buddies.
