Maria got an Amaryllis bulb from someone a few months ago, and she put it in a round vase and gave it a home on the windowsill of my office window. Today, we noticed it had blossomed, and I have another soldier in my Flower Therapy campaign. Beauty is where you find it, and we refused to be discouraged by the rain, snow, wind, and darkness.

I guess this is flower power in yet another way. I’m keeping this one right by my desk. Don’t let the dark days get you down.
