Today is a big day for me. Maria and I are going to Saratoga to meet with David Missener of CPO Orthotics so he can fit my food into a mold for a new brace that hopefully will let me walk again as often and as far as I would like. I’m excited; I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.
I got up early when I saw the sun was rising behind my flowers. That is something else I am eager to share. This is a beautiful way to start the week. Color and Light together are what make these photos so unique for me. Color and Light are the magic formula; that’s when flowers shine.
When I can get them together, I jump.
They say flowers are nature’s songs. They were singing for me today. A nice day for me.

Thanks for all the lovely flower photos, I enjoy them so much. Some years ago, a photo you took of your peonies on your porch at your former farm, was my wallpaper on my computer. Now photos I’ve taken of my own pansies have taken their place, but I’ve really enjoyed both. I love my flowers and take photos of them now and then, nothing to approach yours but they bring me a lot of pleasure.
