Thank you, Antoinette, for conveying the Army of Good’s appreciation to the Cambridge Food Pantry volunteers.

The unpacking never stops.

Thanks for the diapers you sent to the Pantry mothers. “You are a blessing,” said one of the customers of the Army of Good.

You can see the Cambridge Pantry Amazon Food Wish List any time, either by clicking on any link here or by clicking on the green buttons at the bottom of every blog post.

Every item on the wish list is urgent now, as the pantry currently has no budget for purchasing some canned goods. The regional food bank offers what it can. (The pantry has to pay for what they ask for, and accept what the bank sends.)

If you have an extra few dollars to spare and want to do some good, review the list and consider sending any item you wish.  If you don’t, we understand, and thanks anyway for caring.

Your food donations will support a worthy and meaningful cause -hunger.

Thanks so much for supporting the Cambridge Food Pantry; you are making an enormous difference.

This weekend, we donated two different kinds of cereals to the food pantry, along with some chunky peanut butter. Today, we are repeating our requests to help store the most popular foods. We’re asking for Tomato sauce, Clam Chowder, and Refried Beans. See above.

You can see the list at the top of the post.  Thanks for any help you can offer. You are making a very positive impact on their lives.

We thank you again and again for your support. Good people do good.

Sarah prepared the video below so the Army of Good could see just how much they have donated. Almost everything on these shelves came from the Army of Good. She also uses the video to let newcomers see what the shelves look like. Many are anxious and have had uncomfortable experiences at other food pantries.
