This morning, Mother Nature apologized for the days of heat and rain (returning on Monday) and provided a beautiful, fall-like photographers’ light. Thanks for that; these photos are pastoral, if nothing else. Zip was off hanging somewhere for a while, then joined us. Please enjoy them. Try finding calm.
The true artists.
The second delivery of firewood is in the woodshed—four more cords to come.
My goodness, Jon…that photo under your headline is just beautiful! It really captures a mid-summer day and light, and love all those Queen Anne’s Lace flowers.
Stunning pic! Is that cobweb for real? Amazing feat of arachnid architecture! Thank you for sharing.
He spins every day, this one was fresh…yes, it is for real…he’s the best artist around.. the light has to be just right..
Excuse me for writing this on 8/4. Just had to tell you, I think these are some of the most lovely of your pastoral .photos, especially the one at the top of Maria and Zinnia. Thanks for posting them daily.
